Topic: The Assyrians in Iran: Their current situation and cultural
heratige under threat

Nicholas Al-Jeloo, was born in Australia where he finished his BA in
Semitic languages at the University of Sydney. He has an MA in Eastern
Christianity from Leiden University in Holland and is currently back at
Sydney undertaking a PhD in Syriac Studies. He is a co-author of Modern
Aramaic Phrasebook and Dictionary (2006) and is currently working on
more publications related to his field.
